On February 16, 2021, a section of roof on the MiraCit Development Copration's business office building collapsed in the early morning.
Two Columbus fire crews responded about 3:34 p.m. to the location after receiving a report that a large center section of the roof on the building
collapsed.
It was determined that no one was inside the building when the roof partially collapsed. After a night in which the Columbus area was
blanketed with sleet and snow, it's likely that the weight of the wintry precipitation contributed to the collapse.
